Looking for a mold for a Marlin in 35 Remington for a new shooter/friend of mine.

My first choice was Lee because of cost but saw nothing listed.

Any suggestions?

Lyman makes a 205gr which is a good old stand bye, the Ranch Dog 190gr is also very popular. I have a group buy 190gr copy of the RD mould that has standard lube grooves instead of tumble lube grooves, if you want to try a few just PM me and I can send some.

I show Ranch Dog's 190 grain FN gc in my inventory. I have made it for several customers and they seem to like it,

I highly recommend the Ranch Dog Outdoors mold. Very much worth the cost.

In the 35 REM Marlin's I had I used the RCBS 35-200GC first with very good results . Killed a deer or two with it from older peep sighted Marlin's and shot some silhouettes .

Later I was able to get the original Ranch Dog 359-180GC and it worked only so so in my rifles . Later Ranch Dog revamped his design and brought out the 359-190GC and that one worked really well in my old 336SC as well as a newer 336D .

Swede Nelson ran a group buy for the 35 200 rcbs clone not long ago. I got a rg2 for casting both hollow points and solids. His work was as usual faultless and I recommend that you try Swede to see if he has any extra's left, he normally does a overrun for stock.

+1 on the RCBS 35-200-FN. I use it exclusively now in my rebarreled M91 Mauser .35 Remington having tried 2 other cast bullets. Kills deer very nicely.

+1 on the RCBS 35-200-FN. I haven't shot any deer with it, but is feeds and shoots great in my 336 when loaded at 1900 - 2000 fps.
