I'm picking up a NOE mould. It is a 311316 115gr 3 cavity from a past group buy. I've been reading about the hollow point tool might not fit under a LEE bottom pour pot. I am considering a BP pot and wondered if this is true. I do not have the mould yet but pictures show the usual wooden handle and pin arrangement.

Bob - you might have to use a little dipper and pour the HP cavity that way. I have an NOE 358429 with one HP cavity. I used it once and didn't attempt to pour any HP's then, so the handle was still in the box. You're right though - it might be close under my RCBS too!! Mike

I have an NOE hollow point mold and it fits under my Lee 4-20. Which Lee pot do you have.

I cut a slot in the base of my Lee pot and then set it on 2 short pieces of 1 in. wood. This allows ALL hollow point pin handles to clear.

Right now I'm shopping. It will be a LEE due to price. I cast for a couple of rifles only with no plan to add any guns.

I think it will be the little Production IV rather than the 4-20. Up here the Production IV runs $77 bucks and the 4-20 runs $92. The Magnum Melt runs $71 plus shipping.

Perfect, LEE-mented a pot! I'm sure going to cast HP bullets so this will be my remedy to.
