i have been drilling HP'S for SD using 20-1 alloy. i use a Fosrter HP set up but with a bigger .189 drill( biggest that fits trimmer. Results are better than commerial. . ( See 38 Special water jug pic) Since i only need maybe 6 to 12 loads. the work involved isnt too bad. I KNOW dont be cheap and get a MIlhec mold( have two 45 acp and 41 mag)the 38 Specila is my 2nd carry gun. Question always arrises should you use home made bullets and loads? i KNOw why take the chance in court, JUG PIC Mod 10 125g HP(drilled from Lee 158,4.5 g Unique at 7yrds, Thur 3 1/2 gallon water filled jugs

Most of the guys that have been using my drill fixtures have reported getting their best results from tapered "center drills" as shown in post #88 in this thread - http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=71615&page=5

I may make another batch when work slows up again. In the mean time, I think that I still have 1 square econo jig on the shelf & most of the parts for a few universal jigs. I over did it a little when I ran my production run of parts for the universals.

Well I'll have to keep an eye out for when you decide it's worth it (both eyes are getting cr@py anyway) but I might get lucky.
