Well I started with a .430" that actually worked pretty well !
Then I went to a .431" and that was better . Then about 14 months ago I called Buffalo Arms and ordered custom made ones in .432" and .433" !

So at the moment I have .429" , .430" , .431" , .432" and finally the .433" . I am using just the .432" now and have yet to use the .433" but I have it just in case !

Wern't Ranch Dog boolits designed to just use tumble lube and no sizing? What did unsized boolits shoot like? No sense making work, theres plenty around I've always found.

i think i'd do like four fingers said, and shoot them as cast first. you may not need a sizer. mine drops them right at .432, and does pretty well.

Nope he designed them to use Lee Liquid Alox , but RD himself runs them thru a Lee .432" sizing die .

You can buy a Lee .432" from Ranch Dog if you wanna use a Lee sizer .

I got my .432" and .433" dies from Buffalo Arms in Idaho . Seems they have a machine shop and make them themselves !
Got a .461" from them as well for my 45-70 ;-)

But be prepared if you want to order one as they ain't inexpensive , think they cost me $40 or $45 each !

Standard Lyman dies cost over $40 here.

A Lyman lube size die here is about $20 and a RCBS is maybe $25 !

Hate is such a strong word. I wouldnt be without it, dont carry them around in a fuzzy coat pocket.

Buckshot made me a .432 sizer for my Lyman and it works great. His work is top notch and second to none in my books. I also had him make me up a .361 for my .38 S&W revolvers that works great.
