got a few ww and lead yesterday

Was killing time yesterday and swung by two tire shops. Managed to get about 40 pounds total from them. For some reason, I stopped at the local scrap yard that never has and lead or ww. Seems like they had 60 pounds of lead trot line sinkers and 460 pounds of ww. 32 cents a pound..all in a nice big plastic drum. Did take them home, but Not sure how I'm going to unload a 520 pound drum out of my truck tho.

Knock the drum over and shovel them out into a wheelbarrow or smaller buckets.

That sounds like a great Idea, Hell I'd make a few trips if need be.

I get em down to the 600-800lb range then tip them over and shovel with a round point likes already been suggested. When it gets to about 300lbs, I stand it back up and walk it to the tailgate and either slide it down or let gravity have fun. I've always done it with a metal drum. Plastic shouldn't have any problems. Hand truck from there.
