Hi... I have a lot of these two powders.... I can not find any data using them in a 35 Remington ... would like to find some accurate light or medium loads.... using 158GC and 200GC RCBS bullets...
Thanks for your input..... Hal

20.7gr of 5744 will get you started with the 200gr at 1546. Max listed on Accurate's PDF I have is 23.0 at 1750fps and 27,600psi. Doesn't have any 1680 data. But 1680 is only a tad slower burning than 5744, so the range would be about the same for the same bullet.

Fired a ton of 158 hard cast plain base SWCs from a Marlin MG barrel, using about 15-17 grains of 5744. It was my everything-less-than-deer load for a while. That was 10 years ago, and my notes are lost in a move. I remember about 1800 fps with 2 moa accuracy. Lighter charges were less accurate. GC boolit obviously could stand more.

1680 is listed as similar to 4227 in burn rate. That should make it easy.

i remember reading it hear about two years ago, cause i wrote it down. that another member was using 20gr. of imr-4227, and the rcbs-200 in 35 rem. but i can't member who it was. but they talked very highly of that load. i take alot notes on here, and other sites as well, cause i can't member every thing. 8-)
