Hurray for Herters !

OK,,,a friend gave me a full box of original Herters .357 ammunition....1960 vintage...
after all this time I wondered if it was still shootable..
Took a hike into the mountains and fired off half a box....no mis-fires or squibs
Herters ammo came through even after sitting for 50 years !!

I have to wonder why you shot them.
I don't but there are some that collect both herters and ammo.

I know Iknow, because you wanted too. lol

Bought some origonal Mauser Broomhandle ammo down here 15 years ago that was made in 1908. Most ignited fine.. a couple gave just a momentary hangfire.
