I see where Timney is making a replacement adjustable trigger for the Mosin-Nagant now, and I'm very highly tempted to try one. Just wondering if anyone has taken the plunge and what your experience is with it. Good, bad; tremendous improvement or not?

ETA: Before the discussion (assuming there ever is any ;)) gets sidetracked by another trigger like the Huber or the various 'poor-boy' methods of improving the Mosin trigger, I'm familiar with them. Right now I'm concentrating on the Timney replacement trigger assembly.

I hope someone has some info too. I've been wanting to upgrade one of mine. Is this the one with the built in safety?

Yes, it is. I've seen some very brief reports on other forums, and so far everyone seems happy with it. I understand that it takes a bit of inletting to get it into the stock, but that shouldn't be that difficult.
