I might have mentioned, a week or so ago, that I did my Spring smelt. There were these "soup can" ingots that somebody gave me long ago. Decided to melt them too and kept them separate, cause I didn't know exactly what was in them.
So, after pouring them into 1 lb ingots I noticed they looked "tinny". One of the guys at work does a lot of scrapping metal, so I got him to take one and get it anylized. Turns out it's 35% tin and the rest lead!!! Yeah!!! Have a total of about 35 lbs of the stuff. Really glad I kept it separated. I was actually afraid it might have zink or something in it. Started out as solder maybe??
