From pressing .357 boolits out of a 30-30 "cookie cutter" following pan lubing...about 15 pounds of them. I became a "Casting Fool" this past weekend, moulding ~600 x 158 grain WC's, then pan lubing them, then cutting them out, then wiping the excess wax off, then sprinkling with Mica, then loading them into powdered and primed cases, and now I am ready to SHOOT 'EM...the fun never stops in casting.

when i pan lube i really like the clean look of the "crack it " method ( whack it then push thru ) saves me fingers for loadin ! but i also confess to making my lubes moderately hard enough to help make it easier :P

I use a 35 'Rem case and even opened up the mouth a little for all my panlubed 38/357 boolits. If you set up a nail in the case primer hole with a small spring (pen spring) and a cork on the end you have a nice tool to cut out the lubed boolits. There was a picture on here someplace of this tool.

Save yourself a lot of fuss and expense. Make yourself a "Push through" kutter. Epoxy a handle on a case and cut the head off. You just pick the second boolit out of the case. It goes really fast.
