Lee Mini in the 45/70 ?

Has anyone tried using the Lee 45 cal Minie Bullet as a Paper Patched Bullet in a 45/70?

I do not see why it wouldn't work. As a plus, you could tuck the tail into the base.
I would size it, then wrap it, then size it.
A good design. I like the lube lands as it helps hold the patch.
Those molds are well built.
They need heat to work though.

docone31 Thanks that is what i was thinking. Do you have a thought as to how fast one could drive these? 1400 to 1500 FPS would be plenty for my needs. If it were you ,would you get the over size design?
