Did this yesterday.
Took the cutter and added a spindle to chuck up in the drill press.
Need to add something to keep it from twisting when not holding it; don't NEED a clamp for the holder.
Two units shown, original (horizontal) and the adaptation.

Easy to keep to +/- .002; .001 possible if I pay attention.
