first, thanks for all the helpful input.

took problem bullets and melted all bullets, recast using a lee mold (.356 - 124 grain bullet), and relubed with lla/jpw. before the bullets could be nicked with a thumbnail, new bullets could not be nicked. also average weight went from 128 grains to 124 grains.

fired @75 bullets in both s&w and ruger p95. had almost no leading in barrels. load is 3.4 grains bullseye.

new bullets are harder and now .356"ish dia., lubed with lla/jpw = no problems with leading the barrel. bullets are dropping at .356-357". running all bullets through a lee .357 sizing die

thanks again for input.

Wow. Bullseye and cast in 9mm that doesn't lead! I'm impressed. I tried that combo in one of my mines (with commercial cast that had hard lube, which is probably the problem) and I think I'm still cleaning led out of the thing.

One of my most favorite loads for my 9mm carbine is 3.5gr of Bullseye.

BE was my go to powder in all straight walled 380,9mm.38 super,38,357,44mag,45 acp,454 casull , pistol calibers for reduced loads until Tightgroup came along ! same accuracy, just keeps the gun cleaner and in the begining less expensive.
Ive never had leading issues with either powder !
