45-70 collar button boolits

Does anyone have any experience using these? What are your favorite loads with these boolits (Lyman/Ideal 457130)?

I have some but have spent little time messing with them. I used Unique but don't remember the charge weight, I think it was around 10 gr.
I probably should start playing with them again.

i have done so and am in the middle of an experiment with them now...as follows;

i take a box of 50cal mz balls [pure lead] and push them thru a .460 lee size die after lubing them litely with their lla lube and my fingers. they come out real nice but i have a ring on the base to clean up with my fingernail first.

then i load [12 grains rite now] of unique and fill the case up with cornmeal as filler.[tryed plain wthout filler and got hangfires and very eratic ignition].

sparked with cci mag rifle primer.

have had no luck with accuracy yet but still trying. keep reporting and i will as well.
