Went to the range with my 03-A3 to just shoot no contest or group pressure, when I got there it was all filled up, drats, o-well I know where there is three more benches that is for overflow but it is only 100 yds period. That isn't a problem sit down with a load that I now love 2400 from the Lyman cast boolit book with a Lee 200gr boolit. shot 10 went down to see all in the X and 10 ring, came back and shot 10 more with 175gr boolit over WC860 same results. Some days everything works but others with the same load doesn't, sure glad it worked yesterday.
By the way most of the newer members don't know about the alternate range, and I aint telling

25gr 2400, Ummm ? ? I wonder what kind of pressure you're getting with that load ?

Kind of thinking the same thing about your 25 grain load of 2400 behind a 200 grain bullet. Is this published load data or have you worked the load up?. Sounds way too hot especially for 2400. From what I remember 16 grains with a 200 grain bullet would give you approximately 1500-1600 feet per second. would not want you to get hurt or worse. Frank

I did work it up and it had no pressure signs, and the crono said 2056fps average with a 32 fps deviation the Lyman book says at max which this wasn't the pressure was 35,000 C.U.P. the boolit actually weighs in at 190.8gr but is from a Lee 200gr mold.
Thank you for the caution and I do try to be safe but need reminders from good people.
As for the other load of WC860 it came out of Castpics's at the bottom of the page.
