Is there a good way to remove lube from a lubrisizer. I bought it with some unknow lube in it and am just wondering if there is a good way to get it out, or do you just melt it out.

Cheers,
Greg

You melt it out. There are several threads on this here, do a search. One recomended method is to boil it in a large pot. Sounds messy to me. That's why I have two of them, one for BP and pistol lube and one for high speed lube.

A hair dryer works just fine.

That ought to work.
I use a heat gun, similar to a hair dryer but it gets a lot hotter. It also works faster than a hair dryer.

Actually, boiling it is not messy, as the lube rises to the surface and will harden for re-use or disposal.

maybe I'll just get one for everyone type of lube. That sounds much more convenient. :D

In a metal bucket on the turkey fryer is the fastest. Just don't trust the lube that cools on top of the water for flux. It will have entrapped water, and an invite to the tinsel fairy.
