Would very much like to hear from muzzleloader shooters using home made lubes with cast lead bullets. Does anyone have some experiences and formulas to relate?

Emmerts lube has worked well for me just add a bit of lanolin, also I have used Stumpys Moose Snot its a little softer should work well when the weather is colder.

+1 on the Emmerts. I use the old standard mix. It works great in my 45-70 with my bp loads.
It should work well for you, with the muzzle loader.

I tumble lube my Lee R.E.A.L. bullets with 45:45:10 or LLA and am tickled that something so simple has me completely satisfied.

emmerts works well but lately i have been using pearl lube ( umm slightly improved but ...) with great success , being as it's soy wax vs. beeswax it is a bit softer

My 470 grain conical' s get lubed in my 450,
I have good luck with Bees wax with about 1/4 mutton tallow. For a pound of lube I put in about 1 teaspoon of Jojoba oil. This is a front stuffer that clover leafs at 65 yards, the bullets are sized .504. The rifle is a White 504 ultra mag.
