I have a bunch of these cast up and was wondering if anyone had tried these in the 308MX and what kind of results you had. I am considering using a load of about 8.0 gr of Unique. I am looking for an accurate plinking load for practice at 50yds. Any suggestions?

If you can seat the bullet out far enough to engage the rifling slightly, you'll get some very good results.
Are you using a g/c. ?

Ben;

I am using gas checks, and I have sized the boolits to .311, as I was using them in my FR-8. I have great groups using this boolit in 30 Carb, 308 Win, 30-06 and friends 32-20. I was just wondering if anyone had tried it in the 308 Marlin Exp, as it seems to have a very tight throat. I may have to resize to .310 or .309. I will load a few up this afternoon and give it a try. My Dad's pecan trees are becoming infested with tree rats and I was thinking this would be great medicine at 50yds, and also good practice.
