Beagling Question

When I beagle my mold with high temp aluminum tape, does the aluminum tape thin out over time? If so, how frequently should I replace the tape with new tape? I don't want to cast 1000 only to find I should have changed the tape before I started :-(

I doubt it changes in dimensions very much. Certainly not enough to be an issue.

The only concern may be tape coming loose. If so, just press it back on.

I just tried Beagling for the first time tonight and it really works well. After a trip through the sizer they measured round. It's a shame this is about the only way to get a lyman mold to cast the correct diameter. FB
