Why do you want a 5lb ingot? Small bread pans filled part way will give you an ingot like you want.

Cut the top off an Aluminum pop can, rinse out all the left over soda, let it dry so no water is left inside. Pour your lead in these outside the coating on the outside will stink.
You will have to peel the can off the lead. I use these for my RCBS promelt they are cheap/inexpensive.

I also use SAMS stainless steel sauce cups they are 12 for less than $5.00 you can get them at WalMart also. Not 5lbs but they pop out very nicely.

Make them yourself, about the only way. Any small cast iron or heavy alum will be good. I have some welded up from channel iron, 3"x5", filled half they are 3#, 6# if filled to the top. Most pots struggle w/ more than 3# when adding to a half empty pot IMO.

A standard Lyman ingot mould filled completely gives you a single, 4-segment ingot that weighs five pounds.

I like all the ingot moulds I have (Saeco, Lyman, Lee, and RCBS) but LOVE my 2" angle iron moulds. 6" length will give you from 3½-5 lbs depending on how full you run it:

I use 2 mini loaf pans-- about 5 1/2 X 3 X 1 1/2. Makes an 8# ingot filled to the top. Got them in Christmas Tree Shop. I think 3 for $4.

I used to use the same thing, fill em 1/3 for about 3#. I like the weight of the iron they don't get as hot as fast.

Have a look in the Vendor Sponsor area, "Smelting tools for sale". RayinNH makes some fine ingot moulds if you don't / want to build your own. I just purchased a few from Ray, and he really does some nice work, He's also very reasonable. I just finished re-ingotizing 1000lb of WW into Ray's moulds, they came out @ 4.8 to 5lb per ingot depending upon my pouring abilities.
