can I use a 35 Rem Lee FCD for 357 Mag ?

I had this thought last night.

I don't use the Pistol type Lee Factory Crimp Dies with cast boolits
because the carbide insert can swage the boolit smaller.

Does anyone use the Rifle type Lee FCD for pistol cast boolits ?
does it work ?

I have a 35 Rem Lee FCD that I will try the next time I load some
357 Mag ammo. Is this going to work ?
what pitfalls will I find ?

It's been a while since I used my FCD, but I think the case needs to actuate the collet. 357 case too short...

Shellholder actuates the collet, but the .357 mag is too short for the .35 Rem Collet die.
