I bought back an OMC Backup in 380acp. I looked in the new Lyman cast bullet manual and they list a load for their 120gr bullet but I was wondering if anyone uses the Lee 120gr TC bullet in the 380??

If it will work for plinking then I won't buy another mold.

Only mold I use in my CZ83 is a Lyman 358242-92gr LRN. I did purchase a Lee TL 356-124-TC but haven't had the chance to cast and try it out yet. Suggest that you cast a few and try out. Common logic however suggest that it maybe too long.

I have loaded a bunch of them for the Keltec. They worked fine. Away from my log book right now so couldn't exactly tell you what my data was though.

I've shot them in my Keltec .380. I load the Lee 120 TC over 2 grs of Bullseye and that gives 663 FPS. That's listed as a max load for BE in an older Lyman and RCBS manual. It's very pleasant to shoot and 100% reliable in my KT. I'm going to try for a little more speed with Unique in the future but I'm not sure why. The 2 gr load is a great little plinker/practice load. BTW I load them to .975 OAL.

I like them in my LCP and I've fired a few in Momma's Bodyguard. I use Blue Dot or Unique,
