I was looking through the online RCBS catalog today and noted that they have two bullets I have not noted before for the .41 Magnum. They are listed as:

.410-300-FN-580
.410-260-FN-580

There are no pics yet however. Was wondering if anyone has seen a picture of the bullet or has bought a mould...

Thanks...Bob

does that mean 260 grains and 300 grains? Both Flat nose?

That's what it sounds like!!

I already have a Keith 260 and a Mountain Moulds 300 but I am always looking for something new to try...

I would bet they are meant for BPCR(40-65 40-70 SS, etc.), not the 41 mag, but I could be wrong.

Never know...U may be right but if it was a rifle bullet it would probably be heavier...

Found this one also....

The Ranchdog mold has shot well for me in my contender barrel, but mine is the original plain base version.

Try here for the RCBS molds-

I am just getting back into casting again...it has been a long time.

The cast bullets I have been using in the .41s lately have been:

Cast Performance 255 WFNGC
Cast Performance 250 WFNGC
Leadhead 230 Keith
Specialty Pistol Gear 300 (he was nice enough to sell me the mould after he quit casting)

The CPBC 255 is extremely accurate in most of the guns I shot them from...the Marlin rifles really like them with 22.0 grains of H110... It allows 2 more grains of H110 than the 250s will as it has more nose and less shank than the 250s...

..and those do look like rifle bullets...oh well....at least I found the Ranch Dog
