Looking for shot out 50 BMG barrel

I need a shot out 50 BMG barrel. The military must have thousands of these they go through. Throat erosion, bore wear and pitting, OK. Bent, not OK.

Anyone know how these are disposed of, who has the contract to melt them down or dispose of them, and how I might obtain one ?

See if Bruce Drake can bring you one home from the sand box. I asked for a RPG for hunting wallabies though he indicated that might not be possible. Shame about that.

check the gunlist / shotgun news paper there is company that lists there has them
also check Gun parts/ Numeric they do too

call montana rifleman, they could probably send you a match grade, hand lapped blank for the same price as a rough military barrel, maybe cheaper.
