is it straighjt forward to remove these barrels as on other rifles?
If you have an action wrench that fits it, don't see why it wouldn't be.

..............There's a video on You Tube of a guy attempting to remove a barrel from a M91/30. IIRC it finally broke loose with the application of over 500 ft lbs of torque? Anyway, whatever it was it was a BUNCH! :-)

I have tken off M95 barrels with a barrel vise and action wrench (Mauser workes) and had them come right loose and some have taken a LOT of effort but they all come off. My barrel vise is now aluminum blocks set up in a 40 ton press bolted to the floor and i have a 3 foot cheater for my action wrench, they mostly all come loose, BUT I have had Marlins and Enfields with the square thread that I have had to JUMP on the cheater to break them loose and a couple Enfields i had to use the lathe and cut into the barrel at the action to get them off. If you don't have the tools don't try the job a pipe wrench and a bench vise won't work.
