Barrel Installation

Hi All, My CMP M1 Garand Receiver just came in.Does anyone know the cost to install a barrel? The barrel i have is a minty SA 54. Thanks Ron.

A friend of mine had one done for $60 recently with a take off barrel he picked up from me (made a 308 Garand and kept the old barrel).

For what you would pay Midway for armorers books, videos, and for the specialty gunsmithing tools, you would save money by going to a local smith.
