Anyone have plans or how-to on making an offset to shoot right handed with left eye on BPCR sights? I saw a picture in bpcr 2006 magazine but no details.

Why not just put a piece of opaque tape over your left eye on your shooting glasses then shoot with both eys open, works for me.

FWIW, I'm a left-handed (and -eyed) shooter using the rifle from the right shoulder, no issues using normal sights. Either close the right eye or preferably blind it off - it usually is a bit difficult for the 1st few shots, but after that no issues. Never felt disadvantaged shooting with my non-dominant eye only.
Unless you are missing the left eye, I wouldn't consider offset sights - there's no real need for them.

Gehman make such a device for match rifles.

Not sure how one would go about it on a BPCR rifle though.

OK; the image I tried to upload was fall 2006 black powder cartridge cover and came out about like looking at rams on a cloudy day. I just ordered a flip-up blinder from BAC and will try that.

That is a beautiful rifle, I am partial to the long range M.L. fine rifles. What make is yours ?

Longranger, That obviously is a Parker-Hale or Euroarms Volunteer with a Dr. Goodwin sight by Rex Holbrook mounted on the wrist - exactly like mine...

On my trapdoor, I made a mount so I wouldn't mess up the original wood. It doesn't offset left, but a minor rework of the concept would get you there. It looks like if you have a standard tang mount, then a simple rectangle plate would move the rear sight to the left.

On the front sight I used a clamp on sight shroud and soldered the globe sight to that. I see no reason the sight couldn't have been rotated 90 degrees to the left to give offset. It would lose any level capability if you run a bubble. My shroud is indexed on the stock blade sight. If you got a shroud that was free to rotate until clamped, you could make a more sano looking setup with the shoud pointing left and the globe vertical off of that.

Then again, those Gehmann sights look classy.

I'd shrug off those who say tough it out with the wrong eye. Most of the positional rifle books preach long and hard about adapting sights to use the correct eye and keep the head level. They seem to get results.
