anyone got a way to remove minor scratches from a stainless revolver :violin:
I know that it happens but I would like to keep on top of them [smilie=w:

Scotchbrite pads do a perfect match to the original factory "grain". Follow the same
direction and take it easy, do NOT round over any crisp edges if you want it to look
unmodified. A flat piece of wood backer is good to keep flats flat.

I've seen the guys on the S&W Forum say that the gray Scothcbrite is the proper "grit".

try to find the red ones the green will work but are a bit to aggressive however the green ones will give it a very soft satin looking finish that would be a great finish for a hunting gun. I picked up a super blackhawk hunter that someone tried to give it a high polish and all they did was royally screw up the finish a green pad and 45 minutes the gun looked great
