Totally enjoyable, I sent it off to my address book.

Merry Christmas to All.

John.

P.S. Yes, it went 404 and 403 for me later in the day. It must have become very popular.

and damn it anyway, jb12k, I think the link may have timed out and self destructed. I tried opening the link after reading your post and got the same treatment. If there is a way around the "cannot not enter" thingy I'll re-post the link.

Of perhaps some interest to you 'Drifters' fans, Spouse & I saw them perform at a casino in MS. a few years ago. The only surviving member there of the original group that featured Clyde was Ed Pinkney. He narrated a history of other vocal groups from the 1950's. All or most had their beginnings as Gospel chorus singers before going on to "The Big Time". Ed Pinkney performed a solo of his favorite Gospel song that brought a hush to the house. Even that annoying background noise from the slots and other electronic bandits faded away. The audience sat in a silence of seemingly not quite knowing how to respond at song's end until Ed thanked us, three times, for being here. Applause roared through the casino. Awesome.

Where have all the talent gone to??

thanks for the heads up. Happy to know it's working.

What isn't working is my Gateway lap-top. I've tried twice posting this response in vain. To blame is this metal FEMA box I'm living in and Sprint's wireless service. Sometimes too many users and not enough capacity-towers. If I were not so cozy at my "desk" with this 16 oz. home brew I'd carry the lap-top outside for better reception. Tomorrow is another day :)
