A beautiful example, and in pristine condition. Time to load some wadcutters, I'd say!

Yup! stuff some wadcutters and take the center out of some paper. Beautiful gun, congrats.
Can't tell from the pix is yours a dual tone finish?

Your Revolver fairy must be a babe! Nice acquisition, wish it were here!

Nice! Here's its mate in 22:

A very smooth and fun gun to shoot. It is like a 22LR Python.

I was looking at one of those in .22 at a show last year and am curious how the sights adjust. The rear looks like opposing screws, so you loosen one and tighten the other but that front sight had me stumped. Comments?

That front sight adjusts via tiny screws that raise or lower the sight, there's a locking screw too IIRC.

I have a similar OM with the 7" ( I think) barrel. Mines quite worn finish-wise. It also wears a Call bead front sight. I love it for plinking but it's not the best for target work, especially for a half blind codger like me. Nice old guns, I wish I could do them justice on the target.

Somehow I'm picturing the revolver fairy as a hairy guy in a tutu smoking a cigar.

THERE is a buzz kill, if ever I read one.

The gun porn is beautiful, and WFI's 22 is a nice addition to the thread. I have a later-series OMT in 38 that I enjoy immensely.

I nearly bought an identical Colt target Officers .38 a couple of years ago, but was still too
green to the type that I was not sure that the high-seeming price was fair. I have since
learned that it was and I am sorry to have missed the revolver.

Nice gun. Still on my list, just a bit higher now that I have an idea what it might be worth.

May I ask what you had to give for it?

A Mac90 huh? Had that exact gun myself and, like you I really didn't care for it. Sks was better. One of my better gun trades was the Mac90 for a plane Jane Savage model 99 and a small bit of cash. :) subsequently I traded it for two rifles, both of which I like but I miss the 99. :(

I like your trade much better. Beautiful revolver!

Phin- no need for plus fours (that's what those knickers are called. Yeah. I read too much.) You can do the Bogey look with the leather jacket, tie, Fedora and pleated trousers that come up to your rib cage.
