I was looking at one of these, and I notice that it is on the smaller new vaquero frame, so my question is can you shoot heavy keith h110 load through it? Here is a link i stumbled accross.

I guess maybe the blackhawk would be better for this type of load data?

I wouldn't, but that's me.

I do like the 'Special with a bit more spice than the original factory loading, but the "Skeeter Load" is plenty for my tastes/needs. Even when I was shooting the mags a lot, most (not all) of my loads were at or below 1,000 fps. Drug those big guns around for decades before the Flat Top .44 Specials came around and the loads I like are just right in it.

Original Size VAQUEROS are still available on the various auction sites for under $500. It is heavier than the NEW VAQUERO, but still lighter than the various BLACKHAWKS. I have several of the Original Size VAQUEROS ...shoot them daily and really like them...but they are limited by the fixed sights. Since I am casting and loading for a bunch of revolvers and several MARLIN Cowboy rifles, I'm still looking for "the one good load" and it doesn't exist for ALL OF THEM.

So the skeeter load would be fine in the new sheriff 44 special vaquero

This is going to be inertesting to say the least. More than likely many answers while overlooking one important thing in the whole equation.
I will keep a watch on this one.
