I'm looking for the screw that is used to attach the sight rib to the frame on an early model 19-4. Anybody got a suggestion?

I would have thought that Gun Parts Corp. would have it but they don't list that model. However if it is the long sight bar that S&W is famous for that you are talking about, then perhaps the screw from the model 19-5 would fit? Part number 19 on the schematic. Just a thought.

They don't have the particular -4 variation listed. But perhaps all the earlier ones fall together. Do you still have the screw? What kind of sight tang is it; square, long round or short round? From the vintage I imagine square.

Brownells has small part shipping rates available too.
