Mihec #68 Clone ...

This is my 1st Mihec & Brass mold.. Found out 2-day that it seems to like to cast on the cool end . Pot temp was just under 700 º & after it was up to temp the boolits were reluctant to drop, don't like tapping on handles or mold to get them out. So tried a fan to cool between casts & got vast improvement in the boolits dropping out. Any one else has a similar experience . Has anyone ever used the Kroil treatment on a brass mold to cure a hard drop case ??? Tks Russ.

With mine the bullets fall out very well. Alloy can make a difference, higher Sb tends to shrink less so they may not fall out as easily. I prefer to tap the hinge on the handles over putting anything in the cavities.
If the fan works, go with it. Keep the cavities clean.
