just got a lee mold for 45cal 252gr it has 2 shallow lube grooves I have tried to pan lube with severl differnt recipes and methods and can not get good results I was wondering if I can tumble lube them instead

When pan lubing heat boolits and lube together so there the same temp.
When cool(room temp not ice box cold) cookie cutter them out of pan.

you can try warming your pan lube and swirling it and some boolits around in a tub as it cools.
i use a mix of jpw and b-wax with a dash of xlox on my 25-20 boolits ,i use as cast, to coat and fill the little lube grooves.
it dries hard and works very well,it mimics 22 lube.
