View Full Version : GI Surplus 45-70 Brass

Well, I guess this is the best place to put this. I have a couple of pieces of 45-70 GI Surplus brass, WCC 1943 with a batch of older reloading brasss, bullets and boolits. Is this of any special "value"? I've never seen any before, but then I wasn't looing. :) Thoughts?

I would imagine those were loaded for "line throwing" guns. Toss a small rope across to another boat and them drag a bigger one back scenario.

Interesting that the picture shows a bolt action line throwing gun. The USS Gurke (DD 783) had break open single shots with very heavy barrels, H&R, IIRC.
