I was hoping for a little feedback on this mold. A forum search only turns up one thread and it was really about the 500 S&W more than this mold itself. How does it cast? How does it shoot? What diameter does it cast with WWs? A little concerned if RCBS is saying 0.500" that could be with Lyman #2 and then I'd be undersized.

This is from MidwayUSA. The mold is on sale by the way. It doesn't look to me like that bullet even came out of that mold!

The boolit pictured is not the one that the mould casts. I had one and used it for my 500. It cast .502" with Hardball (1/2 Lino + 1/2 Pure). It was real easy to cast with, and didn't find any faults with the boolits it dropped. I had it converted to HP by Erik and ended up selling it.

And I'm so glad you did let this one go! This is a very easy mold to cast with. I haven't had a chance to run it through extensive testing, but the initial results look good.

Mine drops at .501" from wheel weights and I'm pleased with the mould.
