I'm a brass maggot, there I said it. If it is brass I bring it home from the "ranges" I fequent. Was running some 45 ACP through my RCBS pigy back and found brass Blazer headstamped cases with SMALL primer pockets. That will beak you concentration.

I know what you mean I bought 2000 once fired 45 autos last month from a local gun shop. In the box I have found so far 3 40 S&Ws 5 small primer Blazers and 2 steel cases. Next time I think I will sort them before I leave.

You'll find small pistol primers in Federal, Winchester, Speer and Blazer .45 acp brass. All of the current manufacture Non-Toxic ammunition is made with small pistol primers in .45. You'll also find very large flash holes in some of it. It's all reloadable with your regular data.

Hope this helps.

While reloading some 45 ACP yesterday I had five steel cases, and 4 with small pistol primers. No matter I loaded them all as they all go bang when I fire them. out of 100 I picked up at the club out of the scrape brass bucket all were once fired.
