Found a mould I didn't know I had, a Lyman 358212 that casts a 146 gr bullet or from WW and Lino a 140 grain bullet. This is a round nose plain base and looking at it put me in mind of my 38 Super 1911. Well with Unique powder running from 4.5 to 5.2 this is a DANDY super bullet and with 4.7 of Unique it is about the most accurate load I have found for the 38 Super. I guess this mould will be a keeper.

I dont have that mould but i have 4 moulds for the 9mm/38super and have found that the TC bullet profile and or heaver cast bullets are more accurate than the others . I also size to 0.357 for 9mm & 38 super.

I just ordered RanchDogs 9mm 134 grain to try in my Super and 9mm AR.

The first cast I loaded for my super was from a Lee single cavity 90318 which dropped 140 grain SWC. I later bought a two cavity to go with it. I was loading pretty stiff charges of Unique. Later, I bought several Saeco 145 RN, SWC and 158 grain Wilson SWC moulds. I also switched to Blue Dot powder for better pressure.

Cast, sized 357, works great in the Super.
