I have the chance to get about 53kgs of mixed new shot from a scrap yard looks to be in hunting sizes and would be 3% antimony (locally produced shot in the bigger sizes was around that mark) would I be right in assuming it is close enough to wheel weights for alloy blending? (50/50 PB WW)
I have a lot of bottled shot in those sizes for my shotguns so this lot will be made into boolits I went in looking for wheel weights I lucked onto an ingot (20kg) of linotype the local price for lead (all lead even lino) is $3 per kilo ($3 for 2.2Ib) so it isn't the cheapest but it is getting a lot harder to find
I think I did good on the lino

You'll need to add 1 oz of tin per 10 lbs of shot.
That will give you 0.62% Tin and about 3% Antimony.

WW has 0.5% Tin, 3% antimony.
