After I get rolling with the .357 moulds, I want to start casting bullets for my .41 Magnum Model 57. What would be a good bullet and mould for this gun if I want to run a 210 or 215 grain SWC. I want something for whitetail so I need like a Keith style bullet. Its a shooter, but a beast of a shooter at that.

What's the maximum OAL that your cylinder will hold? A true Keith (lyman 410459) has an OAL of 1.7" and may be too long. If it will accept the Keith I would say that is a good choice. If not, I don't know what to recommend, I've been using the Keith for 25 years.

410459 fits my 57 just fine and shoots pretty good to boot. So does 410610 a short nosed SWC GCed boolit

I have a "curious" Lyman mould for the 41 Magnum that shoots VERY well in 3 revolvers (so far), #410032. This is a 212 grain SWC with Keith-like overtones, but uses top punch #429 to accomodate its smaller meplat than Elmer would probably prefer. No large critters taken to date, but at 950 FPS it shreds jackrabbits and holds accuracy well to 1100 FPS--which is as fast as I've run it to date.

Fine-looking rollerpistole, sir!

I shoot a 44 mag. with keiths, also seated to 1.7" very accurate. The closer to the barrel, less boolit jump.

I like Keiths, but anything with a good FN/SWC profile will take a whitetail given good shot placement.
