I picked this gun up about two months ago. I had been looking for a Smith Outdoorsman for years, and this one fell in my lap. It's a shooter, as the finish shows, but the action is bank vault tight and the bore is mint. I picked it up for $400 and I always wanted one, especially for deer and other large coyote sized varmints. This gun was made for hot .38-44 loads and the Lyman 170 grain #358429.

I lusted after an Outdoorsman for years. However, .357 Magnum handguns kept getting in the way. I can remember being glued to Stoeger's Bible looking at those wonderful revolvers.
I finally gave up looking and just "settled" for a variety of .357's (as well as .32's, .44's, and .45's.).
Congratulations on acquiring a fine revolver.

OK, enough already. :) That M-57 was a looker, but this is GUN PORN--unedited and raw.
