I am wondering if Lyman is the only place that makes the .358 diamter mould of the 170 grain #358429 bullet.

i believe there is, or was, a group buy here for a clone of that mold.

I think Miha Products has made a clone at one time, check with MP Molds, online do
a Bing search on it. Then contact Miha and ask him via the "contact" form on the
MP web site. It is a classic Lyman design, and while there is no patent on it or anything,
it has not been duplicate by most makers. I'm sure that H&G had a clone, but not sure
what the mold number would be, and Ballistic Products - the successor to H&G - is doing
some sort of change in business, I heard, so may not be making them, either. Used
358429s are not hard to find on eBay or our sales section hear.

David - One of our mold suppliers (NOE) did a group buy on the 358429 clone a couple of years back. They may have even done one since then. Contact Swede to see if he can fix you up. Very good quality molds. Mine works great. enjoy Mike

Take a look at the BRP catalog ! Bruce makes an outstanding version designed by 45 2.1. The NOE and MP Group Buy moulds are of this same design.
