After a 14 month wait I took delivery on my Shiloh Sharps #1 Sporter yesterday. 45 2.4 with a 32" full octagon heavy with extra fancy wood and AAA finish. Got the MVA Midrange Soule rear and globe front sights and I can't wait to bust loose with it. Plan to make alot of smoke this weekend:-D
I been casting boolits and annealing cases for 14 months in anticipation for this weekend.[smilie=w:

Shilohs are really nice rifles. I have two and wish I had a dozen more. The wait has come down I waited 42 months for mine.

Bill Goodman out of Bozeman MT can get you a new Shilo, your choice of enhancements for $150.00 over Shilo's posted price. Really not a bad deal if your not up to waitn' for Shilo to build your rifle. I've done one each way 4mos. vs. 18 mos. after spending $2900.00 for a rifle of a lifetime, $150.00 seemed a small price to pay to me.And if your not stuck on any particular model or enhancements Shilo often has rifles ready to ship of various cinfigurations. C.Sharps,Shilo Sharps and the Axtell rifles are truly an American masterpiece.
God,Country,Guns and good Girls
all worth fighting for.

John,
Congratulations on the new addition :) , I have 1 Shiloh, looking to get another.
44man,
You too could have one, do like I did: had some safe queens that hadn't seen the light of day out of the safe, they're gone and got a Pedersoli, sold it, and got the Shiloh. Don't even miss those guns, and sure don't miss cleaning stuff I don't use.
Have Fun Shooting,
Jon

Finally getting around to posting a reply. The reason it took 14 months was that I traded order #'s with a fellow who had become strapped for cash due to buying a new house so he wanted to postpone his purchase a little. I jumped on the opportunity.
I absolutely love this rifle and its more fun to shoot than I could have imagined. This s my first foray into BPCR's so I am learning alot right now. Had plenty of time to study though so I have lots of boolits cast and have aquired all the necessary equipment. Here are some pics of Shiloh.
