I use the Lee 358-125-RF sized to .358 over 6.8 to 7.0 gr of BD in my High Power. It is seated with crimp groove even with case mouth. Works great.

that is a hot load. i use 5.5 unique under 115 grain for 1125 FPS, so BD would be around 6.5 grs same velocity and a little smokier.

Speer #10 lists 125gr jacketed over 8.0-8.8gr Blue Dot for 1125-1233fps from a 4" S&W 39.

Speer #11 lists 124gr and 125gr jacketed over 7.5-8.3gr Blue Dot for 1088-1259fps from a 4.9" Beretta.

Speer #13 lists 7.1-7.9gr Blue Dot under 124gr jacketed for 1121-1238fps from a 4" S&W 5906.

Hornady 3rd lists 6.0-7.7gr Blue Dot under a 124gr jacketed for 900-1150fps from a 4" S&W 39.

Lyman 46th lists 6.1-8.0gr Blue Dot under a 125gr jacketed for 895-1190fps from a 4".

121gr cast over 5.9-8.0gr Blue Dot for 973-1253fps.

You might want to check and see if Alliant has data for the 9mm, otherwise, start low and work up.

It also depends on if you have an older stock of Blue Dot (Hercules) or not. There was a plant explosion in the late 80's that caused the formulation to change somewhat. After the plant explosion, the formulation changed to make the weight of the powder drop at least 1 or 2 gr for a max charge. I still have a stock of the pre-explosion Blue Dot so that's why I mention it. All of us here tend to hang onto stuff or get powder from other sources sometimes... :) Likely why there is discrepancy between Speer #10 and #13..

10.0 works nice in my 9X23. Not much help, I kno (but a butt kicking load nevertheless).

I like Blue Dot.
I use 8.1gns. For me, a good load. Low recoil, good cycling, good accuracy.
I use the Lee 124gn TC.

I've never loaded lead with BD. My favorite Jacketed 9mm load is a 115 gr Rem HP over 8 grs. Makes a 'dillo look like he just swallowed a grenade. Don't know why it never occurred to me to use it with lead. :-)
