Circumstances require me to get real cheap on my shooting sports for awhile. I was planning an LBT mold but that is a stretch now.

What experience do people have with the LEE 311-100-2R mold? It is advertised for the 32-20. I'm hoping to be able to shoot as cast maybe with tumble lube. 1400-1600 fps range. Ranch Dog would be an option but I don't want GC costs.

What diameter can I expect it to drop Lyman #2 at? I'm sure I will need .313 or.314.

Anyone use this bullet in a lever action, not for a pistol?

How about the LEE 311-093-1R?

I bought it years ago to use in a 32-20 lever action. Mine casts right at .312" and works lubed conventionally or with LLA. My 311008 drops .314-.315". Both work well out of the 32-20 or 30-30.

Mine drops at .311. I purchased mine for the 32 H&R Mag. shoots ok in my Ruger, but lousy in my Cimarron arms
