Smelted about 600 pounds of x-ray shielding today.

Nice,, big, shiny pile of ingots ready for whatever they need to be ...

Next week .... I tackle the wheel weights.

Dang it all!!!
Here I thought I had it bad with 400+ lbs of WW's to smelt!!
I did end up with half a 5 gallon bucket of stick on WW's muffin ingots and a slap full 6 gallon bucket of WW muffin ingots.

Here is what It looked like to start.

You guys inspire me. Just called my plumber bud and asked if he had any old ingots laying around. He also said he would save me the Pb from the cast iron pipes he replaces. He sells the pipes w/o the Pb for scrap.
And he is right---no fair using a fork lift. [smilie=w:

You're gonna get lead poisoning keeping all that around. I'm very concerned for your health, now and in the future.

I'll offer my lead remediation services to you free of charge. :kidding:

Right now there is someone at the EPA having a litter of kittens after seeing that much lead in one place.
