I've been a lurker on this board(off and on) for about 6 years, I guess.
I managed to secure enough wheel weights back then to make about 1200 pounds of ingots. I ended up buying a M11/9 and a Lage upper, and blowing through most of that 1200 pounds 147 grains at a time. Then I sold the combo for a grand more than I paid for it. Good times... good times.
I currently cast for 9's, 45's, and 401368hp's for my 1006.
I'm starting to cast for my 686. I have an RCBS 148WC mold in which the screw snapped in two. I'm not sure why. It's broken at the right at the point it goes through the handle. The handle will not come off over it. So, I finally registered because I have a question that I can't answer via the search.
Is there a known fix for this that doesn't involve destroying the handle (but doesn't cost as much as a replacement handle)? Is there a vendor on the board that specializes in such things?
