I was surfing and found this .
A new round from Hornady for the Marlin levergun using the Hornady pointed J bullet .

To little info , but could be interesting .

Wonder how it compairs to the 30/444 Marlin I had years back .

Article in Shooting Times explains that it is just a 307 Winchester with the
shoulder set back a bit to handle a pointed 160 grain bullet at modest pressures
but high velocity due to special powder and 24 inch barrel. I'm not excited about
it but it looks OK and fills a special need. I'd like to see a 260 remington variation
to make up a slick coyote gun.
