4 quart dutch ?

hey guys i got a 4 quart dutch oven with a lid at a yard sale 2day for 9dollars deal or not it,s in nice shape minor rust ?

Sound like a good deal to me and who cares about the rust if you are going to use it for lead. I think I paid about $20.00 for my China made works ok but I have a thing about China.

Is it a "name brand" cast iron oven? What does it say on the bottom? You might be money ahead if it's a Wagner or Griswold or MACA. You could sell it for way more than you paid for it, buy a China special and some WWs to melt in it! And if it's a Wagner or Griswold it's pretty much a collectible if it's in decent condition, rust aside as long as there is no pitting.
