Buying some mono type

Well I am going to "bite the bullet" and buy some mono type. I have about 500lbs or so of pure Lead in the garage and the great buy here in the swap'n'sell section is just too good to pass up. I am going to buy more than I need just in case. I figured 250lbs aught to be enough to last a while.

Still gathering all of the supplies to get casting. I just received my .45 SWC molds from Mihec. Don't even know what it is like to cast a bullet yet. Man! [smilie=s:

I think people use 4/1 or 5/1 lead to type metal to emulate wheel weight alloy.

Using this method, not sure where they get their zinc. :kidding:
